BusMin
Work Logs, Done Better
BusMin is a web app we developed as a simpler and more efficient way to record working logs as each block of billable work is completed. These logs can then be imported directly to MYOB accounting software without the need for manual/semi-manual importation.
We initially developed BusMin as an internal innovation driven by our own needs. It is now utilised by our clients to better manage their businesses.
Back in 2014, we experienced rapid growth. The internal employee administration system we used for billing clients was cumbersome, incurred a disproportionate administration overhead, and was no longer fit for purpose.
Today BusMin helps us manage jobs from the quote stage through to completion and has been configured for a variety of workflows.
One of our clients, a local building materials supplier, uses a configured version for tracking quotes, raising manufacturing tickets where components are manufactured in their workshop, then progressing these tickets through to billing and payment to the client.
BusMin is at the core of our business, and we continue to develop new features and better UI/UX. We can pivot our base system to any client looking for either MYOB or XERO integration with their particular business workflow. BusMin also has potential as a management tool for businesses looking to track time billable activities and bespoke workflows.
