What if you could validate the safety of your factory’s air and avoid installing a costly extraction system?
That’s exactly what Kommunity Brew achieved using a Shoestring Digital air quality monitoring kit!
As a local WA beverage company specialising in kombucha, cold brew, and sparkling waters, Kommunity Brew was rightly cautious about indoor air quality.
That’s where Shoestring came in! With real-time data on carbon dioxide levels and volatile organic compounds, the team confirmed their workspace met safety requirements and that no additional ventilation system was necessary.
That one insight saved thousands in unnecessary infrastructure costs.
Shoestring Digital is a WA Government program delivered by DPIRD and developed by IFM Engage, helping local SMEs adopt low cost, low risk digital tools to improve performance, reduce costs and boost safety. We’re proud to be the engineering partner for the program, providing kit assembly, component procurement and technical support.
Following the success of the air monitoring kit, Kommunity Brew is now preparing to monitor temperature and gas behaviour in their fermenting room. We’re excited to see how this new data will help them dial in their process even further!
