Fending off Failures with FEA
Bucket teeth are attachments for digging machines that allow them to withstand penetrating shocks and high breakout forces.
We worked closely with WearForce to investigate the cause of cracking that frequently occurred on one of their bucket tooth designs. This led to further development across the Wearforce product range.
We were able to utilise FEA to replicate the failures seen in the field and implement design changes to eliminate these failures and improve the durability of the product.
